I am not a tattoo kind of girl. While I like the concept, I don’t think there is anything that I could tattoo on myself that I’d be happy with even a couple years down the road.
I came across an online dating profile that made me giggle:
“I’m looking for a girl named “Julie”.. it’s just easier that way. I got this “Julie” tattoo last year, and would prefer to not deal with it. or if you want to change your name that’s cool.”
Well – that’s one way to “undo” a mistake, I guess.
Oh dear, how awful! Just goes to show what a bad idea it is to get somebody’s name tattooed on you.
Do you ever encounter profiles that are almost entirely a gallery of their tattoos? I see far too many women’s profiles that are close-ups of their feet, their back, stomach, side, hand and arms just to show off their ink. It seems very curious to POF more than anywhere else. Seriously, I don’t want to see them!

Ha! This is why I will never get a tattoo of someone’s name unless possibly it’s my children.

I’m the same way! There is absolutely nothing I would want permanently on my body. Hell, forget a year from now, what about several months down the road? Exactly why I haven’t committed to a premium theme for my blog–I change my mind too often! 🙂 And yes, that request for a “Julie” is awesome…but for you, run the other way! HA!
I met my husband through online dating. I wish you well 🙂
